A world of Ice

(scheiße, I need to hurry up and get the new category working...)
Zan, in the shape of a white snow eagle, wheeled over the magnificent towers of ice that dominated the landscape. She perched on a jutting turret, waiting for the little elf Caroline to arrive.

Caroline moved onwards, a small blur of gold as she ran on. Trekking in the snow wasn't the funnest thing to do, but oh well. The light reflected from the glassy towers was blindingly annoying. She skidded to a halt in front of the closest tower, looking around, searching for Zan. She looked up, and spotted a magnificent snow eagle perched upon the tower, staring down at her. The bird's plumage was a ghostly white, and the silver eyes were definatly Zan's. Caroline shivered and scratched her head. How could Zan stand the cold here? I'm freezing my toes off! And another problem. How was she going to get up there, she had no idea whatsoever.

Zan watched the diminutive elf struggle towards the tower. Now she was looking up in bewilderment. Clearly she was wondering how she was going to get up there. Taking pity on the junior soul, she stretched out her wings and dived, plummeting downwards in a lightning-fast streak of white feathers.
